The Jewel Camden, Maine

I have some photos in this years Jewel Magazine.  The Jewel  is a publication put out by the Camden, Rockport, Lincolnville Chamber of Commerce. These magazines are send around the world to people who are interested in visiting Midcoast Maine. If you would like a copy contact the chamber.

Lincolnville, Maine

This boat is near the Famous Lincolnville Beach. Its a great place to stop and dip your toes in the cold Atlantic water. You can also visit the row of stores across from the beach, eat lobster or catch the ferry to Isleboro. One of my favorite hikes is just a couple miles away. Make sure to hike up Bald Rock Mountain Trail if the hike doesn’t leave you breathless, the view will.

Fun in Midcoast Maine Camden, Lincolnville and Rockport

I try to take my camera with me when I am just out and about. The top photo was taken during the build-a-boat race during the Camden Windjammer Festival. Each contestant is given a certain amount of supplies and they have to build a boat and race it around the harbor. Not all the boat stay float or make it to the finish. The beach photo was taken at Lincolnville Beach, the third are the Lime Kilns in Rockport, Maine.

Weddings in Camden Maine

These two photos are taken during weddings in I photographed in the area. The top photo was taken on Mt. Battie with Camden Harbor in the background and the bottom photo was taken at the Samoset Resort. Over 75% of the brides I photograph are coming from out of state to get married here in Maine.

Bayview Lobster Restaurant Camden Maine

Bayview Lobster sits on the water’s edge. The busy harbor is full of  Yachts from around the world,  schooners giving tours and of course sea gulls looking for a hand out.

Things to do in Midcoast Maine

The top photo is a pick up ice hockey game on the pond behind the Maine Sport Outfitter store.  Just some kids getting out and having fun. The bottom photo was  taken during the buid-a-boat race. I couldn’t resist the little pirate.
